Physical examination or clinical examination is the process by which Doctor investigates the body of a patient for signs of disease . It generally follows the taking of the medical history — an account of the symptoms as experienced by the patient. Together with the medical history, the physical examination, the laboratory test, and other appropriate tets, the Doctor determines the correct diagnosis and devising the treatment plan. This data then becomes part of the medical record.

For Men:
Yearly prostae exam after age 40.
Colonoscope after age 50 then every 5 to 10 years
For Women:
Mammogram at age 35, then every other year after age 40 and every year after age 50.
Colonoscope after age 50 then every 5 to 10 years.
Dexascan for osteoporosis at the onset of menopause, then every other year.
Annual pelvic exam and Pap smears.
